THE PLATFORM
You are going to want to build your own platform to suit the needs of your particular project.  Here's the checklist from "build the app,"  slightly altered.

Build a Team to Take Action
  • Identify a Problem in Your Community or in an under-resourced organization or program
  • Articulate you Vision
  • Name your Project and Set Measurable Goals
  • Write a Sticky Message

Making a Map
  • Identify the Settings and Situations that are Underperforming
  • Uncover Undervalued Community Resources that are Relevant

Minding the Gaps
  • Identify any Clogged Dynamic Pathways within the named settings, situations and undervalued community resources

Building the App
  • Decide on the Approach— Direct, Indirect, Group—or Combined
  • Decide on the Most Effective Levers
  • Make Sure the Platform Lowers Costs and Adds Value
  • Build a Business Model

And make sure you visit the story behind building a platform for virtual team mentoring in our compendium of case studies of everyday changemakers (like me).
