Back in the day, we often used this sentence -- "It takes a village" -- to convey the importance of community in changemaking.
To those involved with Let's Be Changemakers, building community can take a number of forms. It begins with the Start-Your-Project Workshop, a community of aspiring changemakers who gather to learn about the fundamentals of changemaking -- through getting acquainted with the methods and the stories of successful changemakers, as well as critiquing one another's ideas and visions for projects you've been dreaming about.
What's being incubated takes a community: The Project Incubator and Encore Partnerships.
This workshop experience can lead to the next stage, where you'll be able to build your own community through two major project areas and one means for gathering. The key topic areas in this section of the website.
