THREE APPROACHES TO CHANGE
DIRECT
INDIRECT
GROUP
Direct -- we go right at an unrecognized and underappreciated weak link in an unproductive system.

To better realize the potential of those teenagers under youthworker JB Schramm's tutelage, he focused on one thing: guiding his students through the stages of writing their college essay. He called his nonprofit organization "College Summit,"  We call it JB Schramm and Writing Your Way to College.JB Schramm and College Summit   .
Indirect --  we identify the weak links in an unproductive system.

Take Andrea and Barry Coleman, the founders of Riders for Health, and how they focused on the physical gaps and the weak links in Somalia's transportation system -- its unforgiving dirt roadways as the source of its health care crisis.
Group --  we create a platform to leverage undervalued resources and release pent-up energy.

Take Muhammad Yunus the Bangladeshi economics professor, the founder of Grameen Bank and a Nobel Peace Prize winner, who started out by providing low interest loans to poor women basketweavers and holding them accountable through the power of peer groups.
