THE WORKSHOP
MAKING A MAP, MINDING THE GAP, BUILDING THE APP
This virtual workshop prepares you to build your own multi-generational changemaker team -- drawing on "the secret sauce" of  successful social entrepreneurs and offering you ample opportunities for rehearsal -- in five weekly one-hour sessions.

It will also give you the opportunity to develop a viable set of tools and the team you'll need, whatever project you undertake.

And what better way to understand the scientific underpinnings of your project than to acquaint yourselves with "the physics of change."

We meet once a week at a time agreed upon by the group.
  • Session #1:  Introducing the stories of prominent social entrepreneurs in action.
  • Session #2: Introducing the tools of the trade.
  • Session #3: Building your own app.
  • Session #4: Getting feedback on your app.
  • Session #5: Presenting your action plan and next steps... .

To give you a glimpse into why older persons can become powerful changemakers, check out these characteristics:   Six Reasons Why Elders Make Strong Changemakers.

And if you want to pursue the science behind changemaking,
this Reading List for Older Changemakers might just pique your curiosity.

For those who want to explore the foundations of successful changemaking -- especially one's own well-being and resilience, this set of tools can be accessed individually with Clint Wilkins.

The Particulars:
  • Limit per program: twelve participants
  • Cost: $250 per person for the five sessions
  • Additional consultations: $100 per hour per person per hour or $250 per hour in groups of four

For more information contact the program leader, Clint Wilkins, a retired school principal and former associate with the Skoll Centre for Social Entrepreneurship at Oxford University: [email protected].
